On weekdays, regional and commuter trains run during the guaranteed bands 6:00-9:00 and 18:00-21:00 even during a strike. The band applies to the departure time from the first station, not from yours.
Frecce, Intercity and Italo have no bands: for each strike the operators publish a list of guaranteed trains. Trains already running when the strike begins reach their destination if it is within an hour's travel.
